Chuck Burris

Vice President of Engineering Chuck Burris has extensive midstream energy engineering experience in multiple U.S. basins. Chuck brings 18 years of combined engineering and management expertise to Evolution with a focus on natural gas gathering, compression, treating, separation and delivery; project management; and process engineering. Prior to co-founding Evolution, he was a senior project manager for the Williams Companies, where he was responsible for the development, financial sanctioning and execution of pipeline and facility projects throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. During his tenure at Williams, Chuck led the engineering and construction for a $55 million compression expansion, co-led a $400 million compression and dehydration facility build-out program, executed several $5-$10 million gathering pipeline projects and completed a $142 million pipeline. Before joining Williams, he worked as a project manager for URS Corporation's energy and infrastructure division as part of the former ForeRunner Corporation, where he managed engineering projects in West Virginia, Pennsylvania and New York and served as a business development lead.

Chuck holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering with a petroleum refining and natural gas processing specialty from Colorado School of Mines. He has held memberships with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Gas Processors' Association, and, through the Williams Companies and URS, participated in the Marcellus Shale Coalition and the Pennsylvania Independent Oil & Gas Association.
